The drive system includes an RV063 worm gear reducer integrated into the walking motors. This component serves two purposes. First, it reduces the rotational speed from the motors to a more appropriate level for tracked movement, which helps maintain control at low speeds. Second, and more importantly, the worm gear design incorporates a self-locking mechanism. When power to the drive motors is cut—whether intentionally through the remote control’s stop function or unintentionally due to a power interruption—the self-locking feature prevents the drive system from moving. The high friction between the worm and the worm wheel inside the reducer ensures that the motor remains stationary.

One of the more distinctive features of the MTSK1000 is its front attachment system. The machine is designed with a connection interface that allows the operator to switch between three primary tools: a standard mower deck, a brush cutter, and a snow auger. The changeover process is intended to be straightforward, requiring basic hand tools and a few minutes of work. This flexibility means that the same tracked chassis, engine, drive system, and remote control can be used for different tasks across seasons. During warmer months, the mower deck handles grass and light weeds. When vegetation becomes thicker—such as brambles, tall weeds, or small saplings—the brush cutter attachment provides more aggressive cutting capability.

As with any piece of equipment, the MTSK1000 has limitations that potential buyers should consider. The 4 km/h top speed means it is not the fastest option for very large, flat, obstacle-free fields. The 1000 mm cutting width, while generous for a radio controlled multitask multitasker, is narrower than some ride-on radio controlled multitask multitasker with decks of 1.5 meters or more. The snow auger attachment is effective for light to moderate snowfalls, but heavy, wet snow or deep drifts may require multiple passes or a larger machine. The brush cutter attachment can handle saplings and thick brush, but it is not designed for clearing forested land or large-diameter woody vegetation.
